The marshes bordered by poplar trees, ponds and canals, the River Somme and its small tributary the Sommette: water in all its forms guides walkers along this easy and pleasurable trail (no slopes) that starts out from the lock in Saint-Simon. The 25th letter of the alphabet mysteriously forms the triangular junction where Canal Saint-Quentin and the Canal Latéral à la Somme meet.
